Our Clients are an MNC ( Fortune 500 company) in the Inspection Technology domain , they design, manufacture and service ultrasonic, remote visual, radiographic (X-ray) and eddy current equipment and systems. They offer specialized quality solutions that will help improve productivity in applications in the aerospace, power generation, oil & gas, automotive or metals industries.



Our Client searches a :



Job Title: General Manager, India

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager South Europe, MEA & India

Location: Mumbai



We are looking for an experienced sales leader with 12-20 years of experience in the field of NDT (non-destructive testing) with a P&L A/C responsibility.



Key Accountabilities:



* Manages the sales team, key-accounts and dealers to reach sales budget

* Drives the business to achieve the non-sales metrics: past dues, customer satisfaction, ,…

* Plans and develops market penetration strategies for the geographical region

* Highlights areas of further development and establishes plans to ensure the business meets its targets

* Proactively establishes sales forecasts and monitors performance versus plan

* Initiates joint actions with the Marketing team to develop appropriate product and merchandising support

* Leads the marketing activities to ensure customer satisfaction, sales and growth



Qualifications/requirements:



* Experience in NDT industry (non-destructive technologies): UT, X-RAY, EC, RVI, etc

* University degree

* Proven sales leadership record

* Ability to take leadership responsibility, set and exceed aggressive targets

* Motivated, determined person with excellent communication and negotiation skills

* Team player

* Places high priority on customers' needs

* Ability to effectively work in a matrix organization

* PC literate
