Head of Talent Acquisition, Pune

We have been retained by an MNC in the Agricultural Equipment Sector to search a



Position : Head – Talent Acquisition (Senior Deputy General Manager )

Location : Pune


Role :


The person will be responsible for leading a talent acquisition shared services team that will support the business needs of all units in India. At the moment, it includes the tractor factory and the Technology Center.





Key Responsibility :



The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the talent acquisition strategy for all units in India (tractor business & technology center). The person will also be responsible for developing an acquisition strategy that supports the planned rapid expansion of business interest in India. As part of this responsibility, the person will be responsible for ensuring the following :



Work with the senior leadership to develop a talent acquisition strategy that will support the company’s planned rapid expansion in the country.
Conceptualize and implement robust processes that will support the hiring strategy in terms of velocity & cost.
Build the brand and create a pull as an employer of choice in the Indian talent market. This includes both for fresh professionals from colleges and mid career hires.
Track the trends in the talent market closely and ensure that policies are created pro-actively to meet the challenges.
Manage the relationship with the outsourced and head hunting agencies to ensure that they deliver as per the business expectations.
Develop rigorous analysis to keep the leadership updated on the progress and also the health of the acquisition processes.
Motivate, develop and lead the recruitment team.
Develop and lay down a recruitment process that will be a benchmark in the world.




Required Profile :


About 10 years- 15 years of experience in recruiting

Familiar with recruitment for both IT and engineering environment
Should have good knowledge of sourcing strategies, recruitment process & metrics
Experienced in brand building and developing relationships with top colleges in the country.

Good familiarity with Excel / Powerpoint tools. Knowledge of SAP HR will be an advantage but not essential.



Behavioral attributes - Good communication skills, coordination ability. Should be able to embody the values of integrity & commitment




Team size : About 10 people , including on rolls & outsourced team.




Reports to : Country HR Head





Travel : Moderate ( 30%)
