We have been retained by an MNC in the Engineering and Automation Sector to search a

Product Manager ( Corporate Level), Pune
Candidate Profile:The candidate should be a BE/ MBA with 6-12 years experience in Product Management and MARCOM activities
Job Responsibility• Process Manager
Support various activities including:
• PriceBook Management: Add / Delete models, define changes
• Internal (TP) and External (LP) pricing: Manage increase in Price. Support as appropriate
• Forecasting, including collection of Actuals on a semi-annual basis, Predict trends

Support all aspects of ending the life of a very successful platform.
Includes:
• Customer Management / Expectation Management
• Migration Scenarios
• Management of limited resources
• Forecasting
Manage all aspects of a new product deliverable. (See below)
• Process Manager Cost Study
• Assist in obtaining information and performing analysis regarding costs for both Series-C and PMIO. Evaluate aspects of lowering costs for both product lines. Establish Series-C as the most cost effective solution for most (80%) solutions.
Competitive Analysis• Support enhancing the knowledge base on various competitive offerings. This would include features and functions as well as specific cost to deliver information.
• Support and maintain an up to date set of documentation for existing and especially soon to be released products. Provide Sales Guide materials for soon to be released products including PINs, Presentations, Costs, Pricing, Functions, Use.

General Product Manager Responsibilities
Customer / Field Support
• E-Mail/Phone Support - Acknowledge all e-mails/voice mails within 24 hours. Respond to all queries within 3 working days
• Customer and Sales Support Presentations and Meetings – Produce and present Internal and External presentations to support products within the Product Manager’s responsibilities.
• Direct Customer Support – Attend meetings on and off-site to support Voice of the Customer and to collect feedback on products.
Product Life-Cycle Support
• Business Plan - Develop the marketing portion of the wall-to-wall business plan for all new and updated programs. The plan must include the following at a minimum:
• Market Requirements
• Competitive Analysis
• Product Name
• Model Structure and Numbers
• List price and target cost
• Forecast with projected margins
• Interaction with other IAC organizations.
• Voice of the Customer (VOC) – Understand customer needs and requirements using extensive VOC techniques. (Specifics available in other documents)
• Price Book Write-up - Provide a price book write-up/update at least one month before shipment of the product.
• TotalPlant Configurator Rules/Input - Provide TotalPlant Configurator input .
• Checklist Reviews - Provide input to, and attend all appropriate checklist reviews.
• Third-Party Coordination - Provide support for appropriate third-party products, alliances, etc.
• Marketing Coordination - Support the needs of other organizations.
Product Delivery
• Development Reviews - Provide input and attend Framework Spec Part 2 Meetings.
• Functional Trade-offs/Tactical Decisions - Provide input when marketing requirements are being discussed. Otherwise, involvement is not required.
• Problem / Anomoly Meetings - Provide input if resolution/deferral affects marketing requirements. Otherwise, involvement is not required.
Promotion
