Resources-India is into Executive Search from Senior to Mid Level Management We have been retained by a large Business House in the Real Estate Sector in Mumbai to search a: General Manager ( Project Execution) Location: Pune Experience -15-22 years ( Btech + MBA) Objective of the Role: Projects In charge (Multiple) The multiple projects in charge heads more than one project. This is a pure management role. One of the primary aspects of the role is to address project concerns & highlight issues to the management. Collaborate with other functions to achieve desired results. Think beyond the unit and bring in best practices. Is responsible for costs, process & quality. Skill & Know How: • Excellent general management acumen • Excellent people management skills • Excellent Influencing skills to manage both the external and internal environment • Sound commercial aptitude • Inventiveness to continuously evaluate better options on technology and construction management as per the changing business economics and demands. Key Responsibilities: • Is responsible for the overall functioning of projects assigned. • Provides advice & feedback to the project in charge & the management. • Responsible for people development and identifying high potential employees. • Responsible for productivity at projects. Resolves escalated critical issues which may hamper progress. • Introduces construction benchmarks and standards. • Participates in management decisions & initiatives taken up. • Study & review process & technologies and strive towards improvement and innovation. • Undertake standardization of work across the organization. • Create a culture for learning and innovation. Be involved in various core committees for improvements, innovations & standardization. • Provide leadership and direction to the team and communicate companies’ goals and vision to the project staff. • Set and communicate project targets and performance standards for the team. • Appraise, evaluate performance and impart adequate resources for skill up gradation. • Manage a high performing team. Raise performance benchmarks and expectations. • Inculcate safety abiding culture at all projects.
