Our Client is a flagship entity for the Process Management business in India. The Process Management conglomerate consists of Seven Legal entities which includes business divisions and three engineering centers.

Job Title: Dy. Manager / Manager Human Resources , Mumbai

Reports To: Director – Human Resource



POSITION OVERVIEW



This position is with Emerson Process Management’s central Human Resource function based at Mumbai, Maharashtra. The position will be responsible for HR generalist function for multiple divisions and regions.



POSITION SUMMARY:


Support the Director HR to implement Human Resources strategies and processes which shall include employment events management, staffing, L&D, compensation & benefits, employee communications, HR Shared Services etc to support overall business objectives.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Ø Ensure that key HR policies and processes are consistently, efficiently and effectively executed across the organization.

Ø Ensure transparency in HR policies and systems in consonance with Emerson’s global organizational policies.

Ø Support the HR Director in providing guidance and coaching to business heads (and their teams) on individual and team performance development and effectively managing and engaging their people.

Ø Support the Director HR in rolling out the Organizational Development [OD] strategy in a hands-on manner with accountability for its implementation success.



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE



Master’s Degree in Human Resources is essential with approximately 7-10 years of experience in Human Resources – Generalist Function. Candidate having following exposure would be an added advantage;



ü Best in class talent which stands out and has potential to grow within India and AP region.

ü Prior experience in a managerial capacity with a small or mid size team.

ü Proven achievements in the areas of Recruitment, L&D, Performance Management, and compensation & benefits in earlier assignments.

ü Exposure to global processes / global players



SKILLS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE



ü Ability to deal with conflicting priorities from internal stakeholders, and demonstrate resilience and strong influencing skills to manage these effectively

ü Confidence and interpersonal/communication skills to work and influence at all levels.

ü Experience in implementation of Talent Development processes and programs including Performance Management, Succession and Development Planning and Recruiting.

ü Experience of working in decentralized or matrix organization

ü Highly adept at stakeholder management and relationship building

ü Change and performance management experience

ü Confidence and Communication – at all levels

ü Ability to understand strategic issues impacting the function deliverables

ü The position may involve some domestic/international travel



SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:



The scope would involve partnering with the cross divisional teams, and provide them with uniform HR services. This role would also be responsible for managing a team of HR professionals.
