Job Description
NETWORK OF INTERACTION :Major interaction parties :
Internal
e.g. colleagues, Sales & Marketing Dept, Unions & etc.
External
e.g. legal advisor, customers, distributors, Clients & etc)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, in Finance or Business preferred.
Job Related Experience:
7 – 8 yrs of experience in Human Resources and Payroll processes, with 3+ years in a management role.
Business Understanding:
Experience of managing payroll and pension scheme administration is desirable.
Ability to demonstrate a track record of delivery in the design and implementation of reward strategies together with extensive reward industry/product knowledge.
Exposure in leading benchmarking, market analysis, the design and implementation of policies and procedures.
Ideally experience of design, implementation and management of flexible benefits. Experience of working at both a strategic and operational level. & of managing a small but highly effective team.. Ability to support activities of the Rewards related to compensation exercise
Job Description
Manage the selection, development and motivation of payroll resources to reach maximum technical/professional know-how and deliver outstanding service & expertise.
To ensure the provision of payroll services to all staff, utilizing the HR Management Information system to provide accurate and up-to-date data and acting as the key coordinator with Payroll and Pension providers’ .Also contribute to the development of revised pay and benefits programmes as directed. to develop an organisation wide pay and reward strategy..
Ensure timely and accurate weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for approximately 5000 + employees
Undertake budgetary and forecasting exercises relating to the HR budget and expenditure reports, coordinating budgets and expenditure across whole of HR. Manage the payroll function ensuring that staffs are paid on time; pay queries are dealt with in a timely manner and liaise with external providers on service issues.
Provide leadership and accept responsibility for HR/Payroll data. Establish a strategic direction for interactions with the payroll system (health and welfare, pension, compensation and incentive plans, relocation, time and attendance, etc) to ensure that all necessary system and process integration is in place
Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills):
Excellent oral & written communication skills with proficiency in computer usage & expertise in the use of spreadsheet software and HR Information systems ( Peoplesoft)
