Strategic Marketing and Planning Manager, Pune

Qualifications:
BE (Instrumentation / Electrical / Mechanical), PGDBA / MBA in Marketing / Finance

Experience: Should have minimum 8-10 years of experience in marketing, sales, product management or strategy function of preferably industrial automation industry or any other engineering, manufacturing, service industry.

Other Experience: Experience of designing and executing marketing programs; managing multiple projects; professional experience from multiple market places and experience working in diverse teams and with multiple functional roles;
Experience of communication at executive levels within company and with customers; experience of analyzing data, summarizing, and presenting information and findings to all levels and functions of the organization; experience understanding customer needs and transforming them into solutions and strategies; experience developing internal and external communications.


Strategic Planning: Develop, Create and Implement rolling 5 year strategic plan across all lines of business. This involves extensive inputs from various business functions (sales, marketing, ISCM, Finance, HR), macro economic environment, industry analysis, competitive benchmarking. Identify new growth areas, validate same through primary & secondary research & create organizational awareness to support overall implementation of strategic plan. Effectively link five years strategic plan with short term business goals (AOP) and organization structure. Align regional strategic plan with global strategic plan. Identify prospective candidates for in organic growth aligned to strategic objective.

Product Management: Manage a team of senior product managers & system consultants. Product management responsibilities include value proposition, competitive benchmarking, technical presales support, cost reduction, product roadmap, regional sales training, new product launch, participation in various industry forums, etc. Capture voice of customers and translate the same into product roadmap.

Marketing Communication: Conceptualize & implement marketing programs developed for product launch, product positioning & awareness, brand awareness and other marketing and sales campaigns. Use various marketing communication tools (internet, product catalogs, corporate films, corporate presentations, customer relationship campaigns) to create healthy funnel of prospective customers. Manage design agency and media agency.

Industry Research: Manage various primary and secondary research projects primarily towards evaluating market potential and understand voice of customer. Identify industry trends and new project announcements.

Organizational Support: Support in annual goal setting, results tracking and reporting processes focused on VOC metrics, account management, implementation of new corporate marketing initiatives, ROI of regional marketing programs and growth initiatives.
Global Alignment: To proactively network with global marketing organization and draw required support for success in regional business. To roll out global strategies in regional market. Provide regional inputs for global planning.
