Location: Gurgaon, India


Our Client is the leading derivative risk management SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) provider that empowers corporate treasuries and financial institutions to hedge FX, Interest Rate, Energy and Commodity risks while complying to today’s various complex hedge accounting requirements (FAS 133, FAS 157, FAS 159, IAS 39, CICA 3865).

Our Client’s flagship product, is a thin-client, easy to deploy web based solution that is being used by most Fortune 500 Companies, Globally.

Founded in 1999 and located in New York, London, Sydney and Gurgaon, India, Our Client, is a young, aggressive company with a solid reputation in the industry with over 180 clients and 120 employees. With key clients globally and new venture backing from two prominent venture capital firms, the firm is slated for an aggressive growth .

About The Position
Our Client searches a Country Manager to provide leadership and support to operations in India. The Country Manager will run the Gurgaon office, managing resources and ensuring that company remains in compliance with corporate and statutory requirements. This position works in a matrixed environment and is responsible for supporting the strategy of the firm and ensuring compliance with the strategy and direction of each functional department head.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing operations in India
• Direct recruiting, retention and performance management of growing team
• Provides overall direction and communicates company’s objectives
• Works closely with the regional and corporate management teams to ensure goal and strategy are aligned, and to provide local support as required
• Monitors and analyzes key performance measures and ensures proper corrective action is taken by the respective function leader
• Ensures that the company’s integrity and reputation is always maintained at the highest level
• Keeps abreast of economic developments, trends, the competitive landscape and regulatory changes in the Indian Market
• Ensures compliance with all company procedures, policies, and programs.
• Monitors budget and controls expenses for the Indian operation, and fulfill all required business reporting requirements


Required Experience and Skills
• 10 years of relevant business experience
• 3-5 years of proven general management experience
• University graduate in business, finance, and/or computer science
• Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, highly matrixed, multinational, entrepreneurial company
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Sensitive to economic and political changes
• Has the technical knowledge and skills to quickly learn’s products and service offerings of the corporate
• Able to clearly articulate the corporate goals and business objectives
• Flexible in problem resolution and firm in impartial decision-making
• Strong sense of financial integrity, commitment and drive for excellence
• Able to inspire and lead high quality people ensuring that the best available talent is recruited and retained
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English
• Able to travel as required
