Wireless Solutions Marketing Manager , Pune
Reporting to the Director, Global Wireless Business, the Wireless Solutions Marketing Manager position is responsible for specific integrated industry solutions that enable creation of new installed base. These solutions may initially include, but are not limited to, Energy Balance / Energy Management, Fugitive Emissions, wireless video, and low cost sensing elements. The Wireless Solutions Marketing Manager will build the business case and strategy for specified solutions, launch the solutions, and manage business performance for the solutions. The incumbent will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Technology to identify and drive global growth. The position shall be part of the global wireless team.

Successful candidates will have broad industry and marketing knowledge. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable establishing strategy and developing go to market plans which define how specific solution offerings can be sold/delivered in a in a repeatable and sustainable manner for targeted regions.

Requirements:• Minimum of three years product marketing experience
• Three to five years experience developing strategic business plans
• Experience in the Automation and Controls, with significant exposure in the area of Energy Management / Advanced Process Control / related space
• MBA/BE in Business or Engineer Field
• Must be available for global travel in upwards of 25%.
Key responsibilities will include:

Execute on solution growth strategy.
• Become a subject matter expert on the solution, compiling Voice Of Customers, market research, and technical knowledge on the subject.
• Develop a global solution growth strategy that encompasses defining the solution offering and roadmap, articulating the value proposition, establishing supply of complete solution components through internal development and external partnering, sales strategy and tools, marketing plans, and launch tactics.
• Guide new product development for assigned solution components, including product modifications and product line extensions; and identification of opportunities for new platform development.
• Work with sales and pole/regional marketing to develop an appropriate channel strategy for the solution.

Product line business performance.
• Plan and implement a five year business plan for the solution.
• Ensure business execution to meet or exceed annual revenue and operating income targets.
• Report on the status of the business in reviews and monthly reports.
• Manage pseudo-P&L by supporting growth initiatives and controlling/managing costs.
• Support IPP process for solution development
• Provide guidance, strategies and support to Sales and Marketing teams to ensure sales objectives are met; and support sales in development of appropriate sales channels.
Measures of Success:
• Creation and buy-off for business strategy
• Pilot customer sales
• Effectiveness of solution launches
• Solution business performance

The following qualifications are not required but will be taken into consideration.
• Sales Experience
• Knowledge of sensing, wireless industry
• Program Management Experience, especially on a global basis
• Marketing specialist experience (Pricing, analysis, brand management, etc.)
• Six Sigma
• Engineering/Technical Degree/experience
