We have been retained by an MNC to search a :



Head of Sales and Operations ( Middle East): Dubai



The position reports to the COO based in the US

Industry: Fire and Gas



The candidate should be a BE and an MBA from a reputed institute .



The incumbent should have a strong exposure to growing the Market in the Building Automation Space



Job Profile



• Strategic Management; Overseeing complete business operations inclusive with accountability for profitability & executing pre-designated targets in given time frame. Strategising the long term business directions to ensure maximum profitability and prioritize requirements at geographical/local levels. Handle marketing & sales budgets & make relevant recommendations.

• Business Operations; Assess the current state of the business; in particular the customer segments, revenue streams and the business model (both direct and agent). Develop & implement disciplined processes with respect to sales forecasts, business development plans, marketing strategies and initiatives

• Marketing/ Business Development; Review and interpret competition after in-depth analysis of market information. Drive business growth through identification & penetration of new market segments for attainment of periodical targets. Maintain alertness to potential new business and/or product opportunities by literature review, monitoring industry communication and activities, competitive intelligence network, etc

• Product Development; Co-ordinating & organising sales promotion and branding activities to create market brand visibility, based on market research. Planning the launch & promotion of new products as per market requirements. Develop on product acquisition/licensing and partnering opportunities.

• Key Account Management; Identifying key/institutional accounts and strategically secure profitable business. Relationship building with decision makers and key buyers in pre-sales negotiation stages. Coordinating frontline/backline Customer Service by interacting with clients

• Channel Management; Setting up dedicated stockists/ dealer/ distributor network for effectively accomplishing revenue estimates. Implement strategy to develop partnership program's through Channel Partners, and Alliance Partners to increase revenue streams and develop new business opportunities.

• Team Supervision; Lead & monitor the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in operations and meeting of individual & group targets. Identify & implement strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation between team members. Make training & development plans, based on identification of personal & business needs
