We have been retained by an MNC in the Engineering and Automation Sector to search a:

Position Name: Head of Marketing
Location wise, number of Reqts. Delhi (Gurgaon) – 1



Job Description



Manage strategic direction of channel distribution for low voltage automation products in India

Defining channel customer (dealer, small SI, installer) requirements and translating them into a required product portfolio
Demand forecasting; pricing; positioning of individual products and brands
Provide accurate and timely feedback on market conditions including competitor activity, pricing, and marketing initiatives.
Recommend and suggest sales strategies, promotional activities, and other initiatives designed to increase the level of awareness and sales of products
Assist in setting the product sales budget in conjunction with the sales team
Manage pipeline of low voltage automation products

Work closely product marketing managers in other geographies to have complete knowledge of products and vendors
Identify gaps in product portfolio for India and identify opportunities to cover the gaps
Vendor and product portfolio management … brands, categories, products & solutions
Develop strong marketing capabilities

Create mechanisms to capture true voice of customer
Drive the development and delivery of clear and targeted marketing messages
Work with marketing communications team to create strong marcom tools and vehicles for sales and marketing professionals
Lead training / knowledge dissemination of low voltage automation products

Regularly conduct customer training sessions and new product launches
Ensure that the salespeople are provided with regular training, product information, and are conversant with the range of products offered. Ensure all customer salespeople have a good understanding of the range of product and services offered
Develop and implement strategies

· Track trends and learnings

· Continuously refine business model (including branch infrastructure, customer relationship management processes, marketing initiatives) to provide superior value proposition.

· Drive the strategy development process .







Create industry networks as a the partner of choice for low-voltage automation products

Network with consultants, end-customer professionals, industry organizations
Create networks to ensure information about competition
Develop and foster growth culture - strong sense of urgency, can do attitude, team-player, hate to lose, winning culture

Coach and train marketing and product management teams
Create and retain a strong pipeline of leaders
Work with the leadership team
