Country Head of Facilities, Business Support Services, Procurement & Travel, Pune

Hi! We are from Resources-India, we are into Executive Search and Selection from Senior to Mid- Level Management We have been retained by an MNC in the Semiconductor Industry to search a Position: Country Head of Facilities, Business Support Services, Procurement & Travel Location: Pune The position requires expertise and experience in a broad range of facilities & procurement competencies. He/she will provide leadership, counselling and control as they oversee the operation's daily work related activities (scheduled, on demand and unplanned for), internal staff and contracted services, assignment scheduling and the achievement of service level requirements. They will provide guidance and follow up relative to issues, needs and customer related inquiries. His/her ability to introduce industry best practices into each of these areas is critical to ensure that the program produces leading edge results that meet and exceed customers expectation of continuous improvement. Superior organization and time management skills are necessary to be successful in this dynamic multitasking environment. Incumbent must be able to simultaneously coordinate local requirements according to business needs & worldwide company policy requirements. Job Summary: As a Head, Facilities & Procurement; you will participate in the design, planning, construction and maintenance of offices & facilities. You will ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Facilities function with consideration given to facilities projects schedules, and staying within budgetary limits; as well as supervise professional level employees within the department. You will be a seasoned professional, with a 'big picture' orientation, solid technical/mechanical competencies and strong project management skills. Essential Functions: - Oversee the design, planning, construction, modification, and maintenance of company facilities. - Review estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. - Develop budgets and long-range facilities plans based on company growth. - Monitor budgets and approves large contracts and services agreements. - Oversee the coordination of space allocation and layout, communication services and networking requirements. - Ensure compliance with and keep abreast of all local EH&S regulations. - Participate in/lead cross-functional meetings to identify growth or change facilities requirements, including resource requirements and timelines. - Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures. - Work with Corporate groups on reporting requirements, processes, and operations solutions. - Take responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. - Drive local and corporate best practices throughout the function to ensure consistent, high quality operations globally. Responsibilities: • Develop and manage the capital and expense budgets for each site • Analyze occupancy and vacancy by tracking data and providing headcount trend analysis related for each site. Convert headcount information to seat demand for office space requirements. • Project headcount growth or contraction over the remaining lease term(s) for each site to accommodate known/planned organizational changes in partnership with the Site Leadership and other Senior Management. Where known/planned organizational changes are not available, develop supply/demand models, and create scenarios that address space requirements. Ensure that all leased space will meet such requirements. • Analyze lab requirements by tracking data and providing use analysis for each Tech site and applicable Field sites. • Provide exemplary customer service working directly with to the Site Leadership and other Senior Management to ensure that the Workplace services are meeting their expectations and all requirements Serve as head of procurement for the in-country business operation & ensure best pricing which is in-line with procurement policy & standards. Ensure compliance with all legal & intra-company import & export requirements. • Work directly with landlord/property management at each site to ensure proper maintenance and services are provided in accordance to the lease terms • Work directly with Site Leadership and other senior management on the developing business case, project requirements, seat demand for office space requirements. • Project headcount growth or contraction over the remaining lease term(s) for each site to accommodate known/planned organizational changes in partnership with the Site Leadership and other Senior Management. Where known/planned organizational changes are not available, develop supply/demand models, and create scenarios that address space requirements. Ensure that all leased space will meet such requirements. • Analyze lab requirements by tracking data and providing use analysis for each Tech site and applicable Field sites. • Provide exemplary customer service working directly with to the Site Leadership and other Senior Management to ensure that the WPR services are meeting their expectations and all requirements • Work directly with landlord/property management at each site to ensure proper maintenance and services are provided in accordance to the lease terms • Work directly with Site Leadership and other senior management on the developing business case, project requirements, scope and priority on any projects for each site, directly responsible to ensure the implementation of all projects at each site in accordance to the agreed upon budget and schedule. • Conduct routine staff meetings with the WPR resources assigned to various sites • Ensure that projects adhere to the company processes and recommend and initiate process improvements when applicable • Conduct quarterly Executive Reviews with the Site Leadership and other Senior Management • Conduct quarterly Business Reviews for all contracted service providers • Author and publish a WPR Monthly Newsletter(s) for all applicable sites • Direct, plan and deliver essential services such as reception, maintenance, mail, cleaning, catering, waste disposal, waste recycling and removal and certification of destruction of confidential information • Manage Food and Break room services for all sites where applicable • Manager printer and copier support/services for all sites • Manage and execute WPR site events/activities working with available local resources • Working with the Safety and Security organization, assist with the implementation and management of the site Emergency Preparedness and Site Safety programs • Working with the Safety and Security organization, assist contractors with access to the site and manage in accordance with requirements • Manage Public and Private access to all Site conference rooms • Raise purchase requests and track expenditures all purchase orders • Track, update and reconcile all invoices against purchase orders Incase you are interested in this profile, please send in your CV to roma@resources-india.com with the following detail: 1.
