We have been retained by an MNC in the Engineering and Automation Sector to search a Global Sourcing Operations Manager, Bangalore

This position reports into the BU Head


Job Profile:


• Responsible for sourcing of Engineering components & sub assemblies / assemblies from India in Metallic / non metallic / fabrication / Electrical / Electronics.
• Responsible for supplier selection / part approval / pilot production and managing seamless supply chain
• Maintain global standards in quality, price and “on time delivery”
• Develop a comprehensive supplier base and manage relationships with key suppliers
• Manage purchasing contracts & troubleshoot issues with suppliers / rationalize supplier base
• Enhance sourcing initiatives from India by maximizing project transfers and ensure seamless execution
• Manage operational excellence and cost
• Build, Lead and manage a team
• Build effective supply chain solutions

Candidate Profile:
- Masters degree in materials
- 10- 15 yrs global sourcing experience
- At least 4 years leading a team
- Ability to travel 50 %.
