We have been retained by an MNC in the Engineering and Automation Sector

to search a Finance Leader, Bangalore
Division: Security Solutions Group


Responsibilities

General: build a finance structure to support & enable the fast growth of business in India, which is a USD15MM business in 2007 and USD44MM by 2010

Work closely with project leader and a cross-functional team on Oracle implementation, and set up a system that enables transactions in local currencies and ensures compliance with local regulations as well as reporting requirements

Full controllership ownership of all local, stat, taxation, treasury, working capital and FX management, as well as internal & external audits

Leverage both internal and external resources to build an efficient finance structure to provide business with analytical support for growth, profitability and predictability

Partnership with business leader in long range and short range forecasts, tracking performances against targets, providing risk / opportunity analysis and driving executions

Qualifications/Requirements:

Accounting or Finance degree with 5~7¡¡ Accounting or Finance degree with 5~7¡¡years' solid work experience, CPA strongly preferr

Proven capability to build processes and structures¡­ able to lead projects & process improvements within finance and operating teams independently

Strong communication¡­ able to work effectively with management and cross-functional team at all levels and from various background / cultures

Excellent analytical skills¡­ able to handle data & ambiguity

A mature leader and team player¡­ can work effectively within matrix

CA graduate

Expertise (both knowledge and experience) in local accounting / financial reporting practices (India)

Proven capability in building new processes & systems¡­.e.g. start up new business vs only maintenance

Passion and self motivated in achieving best performance of business as well as personal growth
