We have been retained by an MNC in the Engineering and Automation Sector to search a : Marketing Manager – India
The candidate should have a strong exposure to Strategy Planning Initiatives
Qualification: BE+ MBA
Location: Pune, India

Sensing and Control (S&C) is a $900-million global strategic business of our Client. The incumbent will provide primary marketing support across India. As a member of both the Asia Pacific Marketing team and the India sales team, the incumbent will be responsible for
(1) Working with the regional sales team to develop winning strategies and tactics to meet growth, revenue and operating income objectives; and

(2) working with the regional marketing director for Asia Pacific, conduct deeper market segment analysis on an as needed basis to support overall S&C strategy development.

Specific job duties include:

1. Regional Customer Marketing. Provide marketing support to India; translating high level strategies into regional specific action oriented business plans.

2. Strategic Marketing. Work with the Regional Marketing Director for Asia Pacific to develop sound business strategies for the business in critical market segments as needed/assigned; and regional growth strategies.

3. Marketing Functional Excellence. Serve as consultant to the business to ensure best practices are utilized in all areas of Marketing including:

• Strategy development
• Value proposition development
• Market analysis
• Competitive Intelligence and analysis
• Product life cycle model development
• Pricing strategies and execution
• Marketing Communications
• Product launches
Requirements:

• Five or more year’s business experience ( total) – Corporate, Business Development, Strategic Marketing and/or Product Management roles working with a diverse range of Strategic and Tactical Marketing tools, processes and methodologies.
• Education: MBA with solid analytical and marketing skills; technical background/experience or undergraduate degree preferred.
• A consistent track record of significant contributions to the development of marketing strategies and tactics meeting/exceeding growth, revenue and operating income objectives.
• Highly effective in ability to influence without authority; forming and pulling teams together; and obtaining alignment and support within a global, matrix organization.
• Must have regional experience across India – ideally with a large and highly complex product line supplied to a variety of markets through both direct and indirect sales channels.
