We have been retained by an MNC in the business of Security Solutions Equipment to search -
Position Name: Manager/Asst Manager - Technical Support
Location wise, number of Reqts. Delhi (Gurgaon) – 1
Job Description ( Primary functions & responsibilities)
Set up, maintain, and develop a best-in-class technical support organization for security:
§ Recruit and develop technical support talent across LOB specialists and pre/post sales support for customers.
§ Build functional capabilities: training modules, on-site and remote technical support, processes and database tracking for support issues, quick SLAs for resolving customer requirements, warranty & repair support, strong functional knowledge , Technical demonstrations
§ Set up team processes to ensure best-in-class support in all LOBs, across all geographies, across all customer/vertical types
§ Build skill and capability redundancy to tide over team turnover. Also use skills and capabilities to support other regions outside of South Asia as and when required
Develop strong trust-based relationships with operations leaders at all customers
§ Maintain information base on customer satisfaction
§ Guide and counsel operations leaders at customers to enable their organizations with requisite technical and customer support capabilities / resources to achieve strong growth and increase their perception of business value addition
Work with Security teams to build a strong process framework for technical support and training
§ Collaborate with vertical solutions teams to support solution design and product demonstrations for large / priority end-user customers
§ Collaborate with product marketing teams for value added products and solutions
§ Coordinate with sales teams to ensure full support and capability generation at customers. Conduct training programs for all customers
§ Work with country leadership, marketing and vertical teams to grow business in South Asia and across the region
Develop and foster growth culture - strong sense of urgency, can do attitude, team-player, hate to lose, winning culture
§ Coach and train technical support and training teams to build strong technical capabilities
§ Work with the leadership team to build and foster a strong positive culture and winning team in India
Person Specifications:
Aspect Mandatory Desirable
Experience
2-3 years in technical / solution design leadership role in building automation / system integration industry; managing a team of at least 5 technical people
Education
BE BE from top tier institutes
Specific experience expected
Exposure to technical support issues and training in building industry Having exposure to security and fire industry
Functional / Domain Knowledge Required
1. Product technical support
2. Training Security products technical knowledge
Technical/ functional Skills Required
Technical support process knowledge
Personal Traits
High energy, Strong attitude for customer service and satisfaction, strong ethics, team player, Very good communication skills, Leadership skills, Basic computing skills (Word, excel, powerpoint) Good problem solving skills
